How To Rank Well In The Search Engines And Get Website Traffic

It is well worth your time to learn and apply a few basics to increase your web site’s search engine rankings and consequently the amount of traffic to your website. These techniques are commonly referred to as SEO, or Search Engine Optimization.

Create a site with unique, valuable content, products or services.

Place primary and secondary keywords within the first 25 words in your page content and spread them evenly throughout the document.

Research and use the right keywords or key phrases to attract the type of customer that you wish to target.

Use your keywords in your site’s Title, META tags, Headers, etc.

Keep your site design simple so that your customers can navigate easily between web pages, find what they want and purchase your products and services.

Submit your web pages to the search engines and directories. This means every web page, not just the home page. Hire someone to do this for you if necessary. For best results, perform manual submission. Don’t use an automated submission service.

Keep track of changes in search engine algorithms and processes and accordingly modify your web pages so your search engine ranking remains high. Use online tools and utilities to keep track of how your website is doing.

Keep an eye on your competitors and the top ranked websites to see what they are doing in respect to design, navigation, content, keywords, etc.

Use reports and logs from your web hosting company to see where your traffic is coming from. Analyze your visitor location and how they found your website, whether from search engines or links from other sites, and the keywords they used to find you.

Make your customer visit easy and give them as many ways to remember you as you can in the form of newsletters, free reports, reduction coupons, etc.

Demonstrate your industry and product or service expertise by writing and submitting articles for your website or for article banks so you are perceived as an expert in your field.

When selling products online, use simple payment and shipment methods to make your customer?s experience fast and easy.

When not sure, hire professionals. Paying their fees makes more sense than spending your money on a website which no one visits.

Don?t view your website as a static brochure. Treat it as a dynamic, ever-changing sales tool and location. The search engines like to see change and growth in your web pages and will reward you with better rankings.

Part Time Internet Marketers- Are You Using Your Time In The Best Means Possible?

Many people are doing online marketing on a part time basis. Some are more successful than others for a number of reasons.

One of the main differences between success and failure internet comes down to how you spend your time. Many part time marketers get side tracked and waste time they should be using to work on other things.

Why is that?

1. They do not have a meaningful goal. Until you know exactly why you want to make money online it is to easy to play around when you should be focusing on hitting your goal.

2. They have not learned how to automate as much of their business as possible. I personally know the worth of this.

Anything you can do to accomplish more in the minimum amount of time you have everyday the better off you will be. Article marketing is an example of this.

Using a submission service to submit to hundreds of article directories at a time is a big time saver over submitting articles by hand. You are accomplishing so much more and saving time at the same time. This really adds up over the days, weeks, and years you are doing Internet marketing.

3. Not having a daily to do list and then working your list. There is something very liberating about getting things done and seeing it happen right before your very eyes.

Plus writing your list forces you to focus on prioritizing you action items to move your Online business forward. This way the things you are doing really matter.

4. Playing around and calling it work. This is a big problem because there are so many distractions online.

You know you should be posting on other people’s blogs, but you are chatting internet insead. You know you should be writing and bookmarking a article for your blog article but you are surfing the net instead.

Do not fall into the trap of thinking you are working 4 hours a day internet when half of your time is really just goofing off. Wasting time will kill your internet business if you are only working part time to start with.

5. Do you what you like top and outsource the rest. This is a catchy little phrase that is worth it’s weight in gold.

There are very talented people internet that will work for you at a fair price. You are better off to pay them to do things for you if you do not like to to them or do not know how to do them.

Are You In Control Of Your Home Enterprise

One reason people want a home business is so they can control their own schedule. However what happens is just the reverse!

Here are a few tips to keep in mind so you can have power over what goes on every day in your own home business.

1. Set up a separate place in your home to run your enterprise from. If you have a spare bedroom convert it into a home office.

If you don have a spare room set up a particular place within a room that you call your home office. You will get more done and be in control when you feel like you are at work.

2. Set your schedule in advance and stick to it. Let everyone know what your schedule is for that week so you do not have constant interruptions.

Be sure and schedule fun things into your day timer as well. This could be family activities or making sure the kids are entertained. There is no sense having a home business if you can’t enjoy it.

3. Automate as much as possible by using the Internet. For example if you want to market with articles use a submission service to maximize your article marketing campaign.

Use an auto responder to follow up by email. Arrange for quality hosting so you never have problems with that.

Use a good blogging platform such as Word Press to make it easy on yourself. These are all things you can do to automate your enterprise and control your time better.

4. Host your own website or blog so that you control what goes on with it. Many home business owners use the website given to them by the company they are representing.

You see this all the time with affiliate marketing opportunities. Although this is a great opportunity, using the replicated website does not give you the control we are talking about.

Unless you can make changes directly to the site you are not controlling the subject matter that is on it. For this reason you want to be sure to host your own website or blog so that you can make changes whenever you deem necessary.

5. Plan on working on constant basis. Many people do get side tracked or sidetrack themselves when they go on the Internet.

The Internet is a lot of fun and so is surfing around and listening to music and playing games and so on. However you are not in control of your home business if you are not aggressively working at building it.

Just go to your blogger account and click the option monetize under the title of your blog. They will ask you where you would like to place the ads and once you have chosen the ads will be placed and you will start making money. Of course you will need to work on marketing and traffic both of which I cover in my Marketing Blog. The more traffic you get the more money you will begin to make of course the best money will be made from Google traffic.

4. https://payperpost.com/- This is the top paying blogger jobs website. It is very simple once you have your blog up for 90 days and have I think twenty quality posts then you will be accepted and will be able to pick up offers. Most offers go for $2.00-$20.00 per post. You select an offer and usually it is a review of a website once complete and verified you will receive payment. Anyway this is an excellent resource for those who have there blog set up and would like to increase there income above adsense. Personally I make enough without it so I have chosen to not participate in the program. The one downfall is of course having to post about someone else’s website so your readers may not be very happy.
