Become A Hit, Not A Miss Online

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

As time passes, the Net is becoming a larger and bigger phenomenon. More and more people in their thousands are trying the Internet to make their American dream a reality. As great as the Internet has been for useful information, it unfortunately is also home to absolute garbage, junk, viruses, spam and useless information, making it difficult to search through to unearth what you really need and want. We now have Google which according to Wikipedia, controls over 50% of the search market to help wade through the myriad of information. Even so, with so much user content added each day, it becomes a battlefield littered with landmines to get through in order to find a solution to your specific need or want.

Therefore to start a business on the Net I believe it basically requires 2 key elements. These 2 elements will enhance your chances of becoming a hit rather than a miss.

I propose that if you are looking to start a business online or to make money online, the 2 elements are Patience and Research.

Patience

This is so important. As humans we are visual beings and we have a leaning to consider things if it appeals to our wants. We also naturally skew towards being a little greedy. The Internet has provided such an opportunity to so many individuals with barriers to entry no longer an issue. People can start businesses without stumping up large sums of cash for a lease or for products to start a business. In the comfort and security of your home, anyone is able to start a business. But the problem is people are quick to jump on a ?good idea? without realising what costs are involved. Part of the rubbish information floating around on the Net would let you believe that within a month, you can start earning more money than your family combined and everything will be sorted. And often there are claims that it is free or comes with free stuff. Unfortunately that is playing on people?s insecurity of their own financial position to advance their own agenda. My advice is be patient. Don?t jump into things without doing due diligence. The likelihood is you will end up forking out cash for below standard products or services or worse being scammed and having your credit card number abused. Don?t believe me? Think about it, if you become emotionally attached to an idea or concept, your first inclination is to put your fears and caution aside and jump on. It?s like being at an auction for house or on a smaller scale, bidding on something on eBay. The adrenalin kicks in and quite often you cross the boundary that you set up for yourself. So be patient!

Research

When deciding on what you want to do, whether it be set up a retail store, blog or another niche idea, you must do your investigation. How well covered is the industry you?re interested in on the Internet? Who are the existing leaders? (Use Google and see what comes up on the first page is generally a good indicator) Do you have money to invest to make this business work? Do you have a product or service that provides a point of difference? Establishing a new market is a sure way of making a killing. Bringing something similar to the market won?t get people to change their buying habits. Are you prepared to wear a loss in the first year if it happens? These are some of the key questions that need to be addressed. Have patience when doing your research. Better short term pain in doing the research than the heart ache of remortgaging your house because you have hedged too much on your Internet business.

So apply these 2 elements if you wish to start your own business and go forth and make your dreams come true. This editorial is brought to you by FreeStuff4Free.com, a site for all your free stuff

What Is Branding And How Does It Apply When Creating An Internet Home Business?

Saturday, November 14th, 2009

First of all, let me say that I personally feel that it is one of the most critical things we can do as we move toward success in this online home business. It’s all about you! It’s all about me!

It is not about the Program(s) or the Product(s) that we are trying to promote. It?s about the reputation we are trying to build for ourselves and our online home business. Grant it, we must settle upon a support mechanism to maximize our productivity, but you and I are solely responsible for our own success or failure.

When we advertise and promote XYZ Program, whose name is behind that ad? It’s not the Sponsors. It’s yours and mine, or at least it should be. That’s what people remember. I still have lots of bad memories of lots of Internet marketers; and, I still have these same Internet marketers sending me e-mails on their latest and greatest programs, new launches, etc.

I was with some of these people for 6 months. I occasionally respond back to them and tell them why and how they have lost all credibility with me. I don’t drive them to my Spam folder. I like the constant reminder that there are tons of Internet Marketers out there that just don’t get it. And, they provide me with fodder in the things I write.

If I can steer someone away from making the same mistakes I made, then steer them to a real business opportunity, who am I branding. I’m branding Me, just like you are really branding You when you do the same thing. In a way, you are putting yourself above the Program sponsors out there. The point is… it’s your reputation that?s on the line.

If you are into Social Networking, and you should be, this is a great way to develop a positive reputation in Internet marketing. Social Networking is not about selling. It?s about building your reputation. Whether it?s Facebook, Digg, MySpace, Twitter or the myriad of Social Networking sites out there, they provide an excellent tool to get your name and face out to a lot of people.

I?ll use Twitter as an example. I am constantly bombarded with ?tweets? with links and recommendations to ?buy something.? These people are missing the point. They do tend to be persistent. They consistently ?tick-me-off.? On the other hand, if they were providing me value, I would be more apt to visit their website.

If you want to make money with a Twitter-type site, there is brand new site called Sokule. Sokule allows you to monetize your site, so when you send the equivalent ?squeeks? you can potentially earn money. Plus, Sokule, or as they claim ?So Cool,? is more of a business networking site, so you aren?t as like likely to spoil your good name as you are using Twitter to blast out your next business opportunity.

If you want to build a positive brand, try using the Social Networks to pass value to other Internet marketers. There are a ton of free sites and programs that Internet marketers need that are readily available out there.

When you come across these free goodies, copy and paste the URL into a separate file or folder, and share them via the Social Networking sites that you use. Then, in four to six months, do it again. Building a positive brand for yourself and your Internet marketing business, will result in huge rewards for you in the future.

How To Make Money In Difficult Economic Times

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

Ever since our economy started to go down, I seriously started thinking about doing something else for a living. I’m a PC programmer and I I really like it, but it seems like nowadays corporations aren’t willing to buy new systems plus they want to stick to what they already have.

Leveraging my computer skills, I decided to turn to the Web and look around for an online or home based business. After doing some investigation I found literally hundreds upon hundreds of offers and opportunities.

A ton of this offers got me pretty excited because all of them promised to turn me into a millionaire in 72 hours!

I won’t lie to you, I fell for some of them only to find out that all they wanted me to do was buy their secret which is what makes them money in the 1st place. As I’m being honest here, I need to tell you that I actually have spent about $7,000.00 in such Millionaire in a Day programs.

All this purchasing, making an attempt to implement programs plus reading all of the secrets they offered did “make me a whole lot wiser”, I started to detect a pattern in every one of those programs, they all offered to make you thousands of dollars a day plus millions within weeks.

One day, when I was trying to figure out why I wasn’t getting rich in 3 days it came to me:

What would happen if instead of making an attempt to make| thousands of dollars a day, I found a means to honestly and with very little effort attempt to make from 30 to a 100 Dollars a day One Dollar at a time.

Well, guess what, It works! I joined a program called The Power of a $1 Dollar. After I read it, it made a whole lot of sense to me for the reason that it did not make any outrageous claims nor did it offer to make me $1000 Thousand’s of dollars a day.

The premise was a very easy one. Invest 1 or 2 hours a day and make up to a hundred a day, your effort is the limit of your earnings.

After spending thousands of dollars on a myriad of programs, I was determined to give it a test run, so last week on Wednesday I signed up and paid my $3.00 Dollars, $1.00 went to my sponsor and another dollar or so went to administrative expenses, I spent a grand total of $3.00 including PayPal fees.

To make a long story short, it has been a week and 4 days, I’m writing this post on a nice Sunday afternoon and so far I have made around $375.00 far from the millions promised by different programs but I feel so happy to finally have my first real income from the net that I feel Elated.

If [spin]you are like me or feel somewhat like me, I really encourage you to follow this path, it actually works, simply think which would be easier to do?

One) Invite people to invest $3.00 with the promise to earn between $30- $100 per day

Two) Convince someone to pay $97, Seventy-seven, or $197 and a promise to be a millionaire in Seventy-two hours?

I leave it up to you, but if you actually want or need a honest down to earth income, give my plan a try, I assure you you will not regret it, and if you have any questions or doubts, just drop me a comment and I will personally contact you and help in any way I can.

People are getting more and more creative, especially when it comes to website promotion tools to make money. As a website owner or webmaster, given the myriad of options that are available to you, perhaps you find it hard to choose which techniques to apply.

One of the most effective website promotion tools is link exchange. To help you evaluate this tool to tell whether it can help you or not, there are three main things you need to know. The first thing you need to know is what link exchange exactly is. If you?ve already been a web player for a long time, you?ve probably heard and encountered link exchange already. However, if you?ve only just discovered the wonders to make money online, here?s yet another tool that can help you with your quest. The next thing you need to know about link exchange are the various ways how link exchange can help you make money with your website. Finally, you also need to know how link exchange works, in case you?ve proven that it is effective and is a technique that is worth applying to your site.

What is link exchange?

In a nutshell, link exchange has been defined as the process of exchanging links between websites. Participating in link exchange programs are usually free, but of course, some programs also charge fees. Despite this, it is still a good idea to use link exchanges as a tool to increase traffic to your site to make money. The primary reason for this is because it is a very cost-efficient tool.

How can link exchange help you?

Link exchange helps you in two different ways. One is through direct links, and the other is by increasing your page rank for SEO purposes. By exchanging links with other websites, especially complementary ones, is a good way to widen your online presence. This way, more people have more access to your site. Visitors of pages you?ve exchanged links with can click on your link to get to your site. This is how direct clicks work. On the other hand, by increasing your link popularity, you also improve your site?s search engine ranking. How? Basically, search engines prefer sites that have many inbound links because the more inbound links a site has, the more important and relevant it is in the online community. So by participating in link exchanges, you drive traffic to your website through direct clicks and through search engine results and hence increases your chance to make money. You also get to measure the importance of your website online.

How can you use it as a tool?

By joining link exchange programs, you are required to surf the websites of other members owners. Every time you surf a member site, you earn credits, which are transformed into visits to your own sites by the other members. Primarily, by surfing one another?s sites, members of link exchange programs already increase traffic. However, that?s not what link exchange aims to do. By surfing sites, you will come across websites that complement yours. When you find one, contact the webmaster and arrange to exchange links with them. Remember that it is better to find sites that are trying to reach the same target audience as you are. This way, you will get more targeted traffic to your site to make money.

Now that you have the basics, can you think of a reason not to use link exchanges? Sign up for a link exchange program now and start to make money out of your website.

Affiliate Money Making

Friday, May 22nd, 2009

In the past, a lot of us had very little choice but to work for someone and get paid minimum wage for the time we worked. However, time has passed and technology has become a necessary part of our world opening the flood gates to a variety of money making options.

Many of these opportunities are more lucrative then the conventional nine to five job. In the past, goods were in the form of packaged items. In our current technological age, we have the ability to sell information and digital products via the internet. The consumer can have instant access to online goods.

Making money in any context sounds easier than it is. Making money online via the World Wide Web is no different. You will see a myriad of programs and sites on the internet making assertions that they know what we all want to know. They know the way to get rich with almost no work involved. This is extremely unlikely.

In all online money making ventures, you will find some degree of work, whether it be in the preparation stages or continuously throughout your working days. There is more than one way to make money online, but all will require some perseverance and a little financial backing.

One online opportunity, is what is known as affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is a system where you advertise and sell products on behalf of the producers, and as a result you collect a commission of the sale. It is the simplest way of selling products with minimal workload.

Clickbank is one of the popular affiliate marketing companies. They act as an intermediary between the affiliate, the product merchants and the consumer. Registered Clickbank affiliates are given a virtual smorgasbord of products to choose from.

First of all, you need to register with Clickbank. Then you will need to choose your niche market. You will have a higher chance of success if you know who your target audience is and choose your product accordingly.

In the Clickbank Market Place, you can browse products using two search methods - payout or popularity. Payout will conduct a search according to how much money you will earn off the product and popularity will display the products in high demand.

Whether you make your final decision based on payout or popularity, you will need to choose your product wisely if you want to make money from the product. Sometimes the higher commissions don’t sell as well, so it is possible that you could have had more success by making more sales with lower payouts.

Alternatively, the products in high demand are also popular choices amongst the other affiliates, which means that you won’t be the only one selling that product. You will have lots of competition. Either way, some trial and error will be involved.

Once you have chosen your product, Clickbank will create a website link that will start you on your way to making money online. For a higher success, you can put the Clickbank link on your own personal website. Then you use advertising strategies to encourage the consumers to purchase the product and when they buy, you will start making money online.

Whatever money making venture you choose to delve into, remember how important it is to be realistic. If this is your first crack at making money online, be aware that, like anything, you will improve with persistence and practice.

Now it’s all up to you. Have you decided to try your hand at making online money? If the answer is yes, start searching to build your background knowledge of all of your options, and work from there.
