Making Money On Internet From Home By Composing Articles - What You Must Know

Thursday, November 12th, 2009

If you have a love for writing and have often wondered if there was a way for you to make a full or part time living from your passion. Then you will be pleased to hear that you really can make money from writing and publishing your work online.

There are a host of websites that will pay you for writing for them. You may have heard of Bukisa and eHow which are two of the most popular Article writing websites around, I personally am a member of both websites but, I use them for two
different reason.

eHow.com is a website that requires you to write your articles all beginning with the same title “How to” Which is one of the most popular search terms in Online Marketing. I like using eHow because you can make good social and business contacts there,

The downside of eHow is their insistence that all of your article titles begin with “How to” I find this particular point a major pain in the rear end because it hurts my overall SEO results. You should also be aware that Ehow only pays money to people who live in the USA at this moment in time.

Bukisa.com has none of the constraints of ehow, as far as writing your article headlines goes. What I really like about this website is that your articles get indexed in Google’s search results very quickly. You will find this very handy especially if you have you’re own blog or Home Based Business Opportunity website. My main problem with Butiska is that it’s user interface can be extremely tempermental at times and you will get frustrated by this.

What you should look out for before joining Article Writing Websites

Is It Free To Join?

Is It a interactive website?

Has It got a very active community?

You will find that most of the article submission websites have various payment plans, my advice to you is never pay for anything until you check your stats in each website that you join. Once you know which of your articles are the most popular in terms of being downloaded and shared by other people. Then and only then should you be willing to part with you’re dollars

A interactive website is basically a site where you are allowed to post comments. Providing that you have something interesting to say, your comments will be allowed in the majority of cases. On most article submission websites such as Ezine articles, Go articles, and Article dashboard.com. You will find that hardly anybody will post any comments on your work. This is not something that you should worry about and I will explain why later.

At this point, I think that it is important that you know the difference between the websites that I’ve just mentioned in the above paragraph when compared to Bukisa and eHow com. If you’re main goal is to make money from your writing then, my advice to you is to avoid joining Ezine articles and the rest shown above.

These article submission websites are excellent for reach, reputation, and back links for your e-Marketing, but this will only be of use to you if you have you’re own website or blog. On the other hand, Bukisa and eHow are revenue sharing websites, this basically means that you not only have the potential to earn money from writing your articles. You also can make money by introducing others, and by being an active member.

“Going back to what I was saying earlier about Go articles and Article dashboard” the reason why nobody hardly ever post comments on these websites is because there is no incentive for its members, so you get a non active community. This is in complete contrast to revenue sharing websites which usually have both in abundance.

Being a active member of a revenue sharing website will bring you both long and short term benefits. Posting your comments on ehow members articles helps you to make friends and business contacts very quickly, not to mention a surge of visitors
eager to view your own articles.

Of course, when participating on these websites your long term goal should be to become every body’s favourite expert in your chosen subject. You will only reach this status if you write quality articles and not SPAM. Your reward for doing this
will be happy eHow and Bukisa members more than willing to refer your articles to their friends and business associates.

Are You Already Marketing Your Business Online?

Have you just got started on your Internet business? A question to you would be whether you have already organized your e-Marketing campaign. There are so many subtle ways that you may be already marketing your business online
.

Have you created your website or blog presence? Having a lively and interactive website or blog creates potential to generate lots of traffic flow. If you are actively promoting your products online, your marketing efforts will attract more traffic and click-through and increased revenue. With a website, you can place descriptions and photos of the products or services your business offers. This is important because many consumers use the Internet when researching products and services.

By using a website or blog to market your business online, your e-Marketing presence is available on the Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, whilst your competitors may be limited to their regular business hours, offline. It increases your potential to reach out to customers in different time zones.

Another effective marketing campaign would be participating in message boards and including links to your website or blog.

Message boards are essentially online meeting places. Online business owners realize that by doing so, they can establish themselves as specialists in their related industry, and by creating links to their websites, they stand to enjoy increased profits.

In general most message boards focus on a particular niche subject, sharing common interest, discussing relevant issues, asking questions, providing advice and even just for socializing. Message boards can focus on any imaginable subjects such as politics, television shows, bands, current events, jobs, hobbies or any subject imaginable. Savvy Internet marketers can take advantage of these message boards to reach a target audience without investing a great deal of money. However care must be taken not to violate spamming rules when you are promoting your business on a message board.

You can also use your website to generate income by selling advertising space to other Home Based Business Opportunity owners (non-competitors) who are marketing their own products and services on the Internet. However, care should be taken when advertising on your website. An ideal advertiser is one who offers products and services which do not directly compete with your own products or services but would be of interest to your potential customers.

If you are already marketing on the Internet
then you will understand the importance of placing rich keyword-based contents in your website or blog for top search engine optimization (SEO) ranking. This tendency will result in your online business maintaining top ranking in search engines.

Finally, an important marketing aspect is to solicit feedback from your online subscribers in the form of online surveys, for business purposes.

Blogs And Sales: A Natural Business Partnership?

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

As you can surmise, one of the principal reasons why businesses find blogs effective as business tools is they help generate or increase sales. While there is no quantitative amount with regards to the exact monetary significance of blogging on sales, there are evidences of some sort of return on investment. Increase in sales can be and often is one of the indirect effects of successful blogging.

Blogs ? Good for Business

Imagine sitting in front of your computer with millions of people (shareholders, business partners, competitors, employees and the media) conversing about business and the like. Now imagine if you can use all the information you learned to establish what product or service your customers want, why they want it, how they want it and how much they are willing to pay for it. This is precisely what a blog is all about and much more. Definitely, blogs are good for businesses.

A blog or a weblog is an interactive website that maintains an ongoing chronicle of information. It is a regularly updated website featuring links to other articles or other websites. Generally, a blog tends to have a main content area with articles called posts or entries listed in reverse chronological order with the latest on top. Typically, these articles are organized in categories. There is also an archive of articles based on dates. A blogroll, a list of links to other related sites is another feature of a blog.

A blog may contain one or more feeds. Most blogs publish feeds (RSS, RDF, Atom). A feed is a machine-readable content that is updated periodically. A feed reader displays the new post and a link to it. Most blogs also have a feature that allows visitors to leave comments. With a blog, you publish fresh content and your readers can add their own comments with links to their own blogs. Easy to use blogging tools are available, often for free. A basic blogging tool provides an interface where you can work in an easy and intuitive manner while it takes care of the rest of the logistics involved in making your blog presentable and available for the public.

Blogging, authoring or maintaining a blog, is one of the rapidly increasing growth areas of the Internet. According to popular search engine Technorati, there are roughly more than 40 million blogs on the Internet today and more blogs are appearing at the rate of 75,000 a day. This is mainly due to the numerous benefits of blogging for business.

A blog has a powerful marketing capability to grow your business, be it small or big. You can now have a commanding presence on the Web, not one based on size, capital, or resources but one based on quality of content, targeted audience and useful products and services. With blogs as equalizers, the blogosphere has become a truly exciting playing field for all businesses.

A blog is a constant source of valuable and up-to-date information. Setting up a blog allows you to showcase your expertise and establish yourself as a thought leader in your industry. A blog can be your vehicle for product or service updates, company news and any other information you want to relay to your targeted audience. A blog must contain relevant information, not just sales pitches; otherwise readers are much less likely to return. As with any part of a business marketing plan, a blog must contain information that appeals to its targeted audience.

A blog is an effective method to communicate with clients and prospects. It allows you to openly and regularly converse with them increasing credibility, creating trust and forming relationships with them early on. A blog with its conversational style is ideal for developing good customer relationships. Readers will feel comfortable with you long before they call you to make a purchase or avail of your service.

A blog is a great tool to get feedback from readers. Your readers can leave comments or make inquiries. A blog is a great way to find out what readers are thinking and in the process provides you with ideas or how to better serve them thus improving your business. Forming business decisions based on reader feedbacks can be one of the smartest business moves you can ever make.

Nevertheless, to be effective, a blog has to be updated frequently. Readers do not visit blogs that do not feature fresh content regularly. Keeping readers in the know with periodic posts about your business creates buzz and publicity. There is work involved in creating a blog. It takes time and commitment to write interesting and informative blog posts. But it may prove to be well-spent especially if it helps generate sales.

Blogs and Sales ? In Tandem

Sales require personal interaction. A blog is one such place where communication thru conversations thrives and relationships are fostered. When you give your readers significant information they can use through your blog consistently, they will be satisfied. They will then return for more fresh content on a regular basis. Overtime, you will be able to build a loyal following. Readers will see you as an expert in your particular niche. Your readers will come to trust you and a relationship is developed. Your readers will perceive that it is less of a risk to buy from you or avail of your service. If you can blog efficiently about your subject, they tend to believe that your product or service will be worth it.

By blogging, you are sending the message that there is someone listening, someone you can approach as can be gleamed from answered comments and fresh updates. This will make your readers feel more secure and will take this into consideration as they form a purchasing decision. Blogging is inherently an ongoing conversation that in the long run builds trust and loyalty and breeds familiarity. When they become satisfied customers, they will come to you for more information and if given the choice will want to buy from you. This strengthens the relationship between you and your customers and they may also send other sales lead your way. The cycle goes on. Moreover, a blog is a remarkably effective way to get high search engine ranking. In other words, blogs can bring in more readers ? more prospective buyers.

A much publicized example that highlights the natural relationship between blogs and sales is the Stormhoek case. Blogging doubled South African wine producer Stormhoeks?s sales in less than twelve months. Aware of the vast numbers of people who blog and read posts, Stormhoek decided to capitalize on this by offering bloggers free bottles of the Stormhoek Shiraz 2004 and Sauvignon Blanc 2005 to try and comment on. Sales went up from 50,000 cases to 100,000 cases. The wine became popular and earned it listings in prestigious wine connoisseur clubs. What is more, Stormhoek gets feedbacks and suggestions ranging from bottle color to label design.

Blogging is marketing to people in a less obtrusive and offensive manner, more like a freewheeling conversation compared to an irritating sales pitch. It truly is a good way to increase sales, albeit indirectly.
