Several Ways To Make Money Online.

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

Many people don?t know that it?s possible to make a living online, or at least a good extra income. Most think you have to have to go to college and have a great job to make a lot of money these days. Well if you think that way, I?m about to really surprise you, and show you exactly how you can make a lot of money online starting now!

Don?t worry it?s not a scam, pyramid scheme, or any of that fluff. I know, when I first heard about making money online that was the first thing that came to my head too. But when I started collecting checks every month, my whole theory changed!

So enough of all that, I?m actually going to show you how to start making money online now! What I want you to do first is go to a website called ClickBank and sign up (it?s free). What they do is manage a bunch of different products that you can promote for a commission. All you need to do is send traffic (people) to that product page, and if they buy, you make your commission. The correct term for it is, becoming an affiliate. Here?s a quick example to clear your up your confusion. Lets say one of the products is selling for $100 and you get a 50% commission. Every time you make a sale, you?ll obviously make $50. So if you get 10 people to buy it, you?ll get a check for $500! See what I mean, it?s possible to do and extremely easy!

Once you?ve signed up in ClickBank, the next important thing to know is obviously picking a good product to promote. Now this is where a bunch of affiliates fail to be successful online. But right now I?m going to tell you a quick tip that helped me become extremely successful, very quickly. Under each product in the ?Marketplace? of ClickBank, there?s something called ?grav?, what it means is Gravity. What that tells you is if the product is selling well. You always want to pick a product that is over 50 gravity. If the product isn?t over that, don?t go for it! Once you know that, you?ll be able to successfully sell products on ClickBank. The reason you want the Gravity to be high is because that tells you that other affiliates are successfully selling it. Let me tell you a quick secret that most people don?t know about Gravity. The number of Gravity actually means how many affiliates that product has! For example, if the gravity is 75, that means 75 different affiliates are selling the product at that time? Easy enough right?

So now that you have that down, go make some money online! It?s seriously not as hard as most people think, especially when you have the right people teaching you. That?s how I became successful online, just happened to be around the right teachers at the right time!

If you want to find out more about how you can become successful online through affiliate marketing, and also find out WHERE to promote, check out my free 7-day Bootcamp! I actually explain to you in detail how I did it, and how you can ?actually? use the exact steps I did. It?s worth it, and it?s free, how could you say no!

I think one of the least talked about ways of making money online has to be promoting on the street. The reason is because as soon as the Internet became popular it was literally kicked to the curb! Originally, everyone was making money on the streets, either by handing out flyers, or placing lawn signs everywhere. If I were to tell you that you could still make money by doing this, you?d probably call me nuts! Well, if you really want to think that, go ahead because I think this needs to be talked about.

If you want to make a lot of money extremely quickly, do this, I promise it works! What I want you to do first is go to a website called ClickBank and sign up (it?s free). What they do is manage a bunch of different products that you can promote for a commission. All you need to do is send traffic (people) to that product page, and if they buy, you make your commission. The correct term for it is, becoming an affiliate. Now the good part?
extra income online

Once you?ve done that, the promoting on the streets comes into place. After you pick a product that you want to promote on ClickBank, I want you to open up Microsoft Word, Notepad, whatever you use on the computer to write things. You will need to write 2 sentences about the product you are promoting, and make it catchy! Make the font extremely big and bold so that people can read it from far away. Then place your custom link to the product you are promoting at the bottom of it. (It?s called your ?Hoplink? and ClickBank creates it for you, it?s extremely easy.) Now after you have done that, I want you to print out about 100 of these. Fold them in half and take them with you on a walk around your neighbor hood. When you?re walking, place them on the windshields of parked cars? After you?ve run out, go home and log into you ClickBank account later that night. I guarantee you?ll be surprised!

This is exactly how I started affiliate marketing. I know you?re probably thinking that this would never work and that it?s a waste of time. Well let me tell you something. When I used to do this, for every 100 I would hand out, I?d get around 10 people buying. So lets say that I received $50 a sale. I would make $500 dollars every time I?d go out and do this! Sounds a little more appealing now, right?

So go out and do this, I promise you if you just try it, you?ll start seeing great results immediately. If you want more tips like this about affiliate marketing, I highly suggest you join my free 7-day Bootcamp where I explain exactly how to make money with affiliate marketing, from scratch! And it?s free, what?s better than that?

Most people don?t realize how much money there is in blogging. The first time I saw people blogging; I thought they were completely nuts! But that?s until I figured out they were make thousands of dollars per month. I then figured out I was the was the nuts one?

So now that I know exactly how to make money blogging, and have done it myself, I?m going to explain to you exactly how they are doing it and how you can get started too! It?s also extremely easy? Let?s just say it takes about an hour a day and you?re good to go making a lot of money online. But that?s only if you know the secret that I?m about to reveal to you!

Most of the people out there blogging are missing out on thousands of dollars since they don?t know the simple secrets! If you are one of them, or if any of them are reading this now, I guarantee you/they will smack their head on a wall multiple times for not realizing this earlier.

The BIG secret to blogging is, becoming an affiliate to products related to the blog you own, that?s it! Now let me explain to you exactly what I mean by this? Lets say you have a blog about training dogs. Now you can place ads on the blog, which is what most of the people out there do. Yeah, you can make a good amount of money if you have MILLIONS of people reading your blog, but chances are, you will never have that. Sorry to burst your bubble. But lets say you do have 30k people a month reading your blog. If you become an affiliate of a dog-training product and write a short 300-word article on it to your viewers, I guarantee that you?ll make a lot more than ads will make you. The reason for this is because you can earn up to 75% promoting peoples products. So if the product sells for $100, you?d make $75 per sale! Out of 30k viewers, you?d probably get around a 2% conversion rate since they all want dog training information, meaning you have targeted readers. That?s around $45,000 dollars you?re missing out on? Now just do this once a month and I think you?ll be happy with that right?

But hey! You don?t have to take the ads off your blog, leave them on for some extra money. But if you?re not doing what I just told you to do already, go out and do that right now, if you don?t, I don?t know what to tell you.

Top 10 Content Rich Ideas For Your Website

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

With increased internet competition and search engine scrutiny, it’s no wonder that web business owners lose business, become discouraged and drop out of the rankings.

But there’s one saving grace that can help keep web businesses afloat. It’s content.

In recent years the debate has heated up over what is required to keep websites ranked well among the search engines, but one thing we can all agree on is the need for quality, useful content. You needed it ten years ago and you still need it today.

There are many ways to provide your site with useful content however your challenge will be to keep it unique, easy to read, interesting, informative and regularly updated.

Here are a few content rich ideas that will help you achieve those goals:

1. Provide Editorials
This is your own personal opinion about a story or event rather than an objective approach you often see in the newspaper. Editorials provide food for thought and invite viewer opinions.

You can write editorials yourself or you can urge your visitors to write relevant editorials for placement on your site. A good editorial will keep your site interesting and colorful.

2. Provide Articles or How-To Guides
Write articles or have them written for you. Use your articles to offer tips, facts, resources and information that your viewers might be interested in. Write articles with the intention of offering a solution to a problem. Readers also appreciate it when you include your own personal experiences and suggestions.

Similarly offer a how-to guide that offers step-by-step instructions or advice on how someone can achieve a desired goal or learn how to do something.

3. Provide a Knowledge Base / Glossary of Terms
Post a question and answers page and/or a glossary of terms. Both will provide a comprehensive knowledge base of information related to your site’s topic.

A glossary of terms is a perfect way to help educate your viewers and clarify confusion. Also, as new questions come across your desk, they can be added to your Q&A page, expanding and updating your content on a regular basis.

4. Provide News Stories
Post the latest news stories related to your site’s topic. Simply post a news item you find interesting and relevant and write a brief 2-3 line summary. Below the summary attach a link to the full story.

Remember to post only articles that are recent and relevant. Old or off-topic pieces will result in lost visitors.

5. Offer Contests or Surveys
Posting a contest or a survey allows your viewers to be interactive with your site.

Contests are unique because they can make your site ’sticky’ meaning your visitors will check back frequently. Additionally, conducting surveys will provide you with information about your visitors and what they are looking for but once your survey has been completed and tallied, you can post the information to your site.

People love to enter contests and offer their opinion. Both options offer unique ways to get your audience involved and provide you with interesting content.

6. Provide Guest Interviews
Find an expert in your field and ask them to consider doing an interview with you. Compose a number of relevant or burning questions that you can ask your guest speaker. You can later post the question & answer interview to your website.

7. Post a Calendar of Events
Offer a calendar of events that pertains to your site’s topic. For example, if you have a site for runners, offer a calendar of marathon events. Your viewers could come to rely on you for such events encouraging return visits.

8. Provide Product Reviews
If you have purchased a product that your viewers may be interested in, post a product review. This not only adds original content, it creates credibility and establishes you as an informative resource. This form of content is also ideal when offering affiliate products.

9. Post a forum on your site.
A forum often provides your visitors with candid, honest information. Visitors can also post comments, questions, articles and opinions. A forum not only allows visitors to add their content, they can also help you network and build joint ventures.

10.Create a Blog
Blogs are easy to create, they offer a variety of information sources on a huge number of specific topics and the search engine spiders love them. That’s because blog content is updated in real time offering its visitors news and information that isn?t readily available anywhere else.

Should You Buy Inbound Links?

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

There is no doubt that links from other websites to your website is vital for an ecommerce business. It all filters down to the Google Page Rank. This is the Google tool that is used to determine how important a website is to people surfing the net.

Google will balance the number of links, the PR of the pages exchanging the links, the keyword similarities on the linked pages, how often the site is updated, and the number of hits a site receives. Two PR 4 sites sharing links between pages with ?small business? as the main keyword, will benefit more from a small business website with a PR4 and a private blog that discusses ?wealth building.?

Also, 100 links between a PR6 site and a PR4 site will increase the ranking of the second site faster than 100 000 links from a PR2 site and the same PR4 site.

This can all be a little confusing. Google?s PR algorithm controls everything. The confusion comes from the fact that search engines cannot think. Both the PR4 ?small business? site and the PR2 ?wealth building? site can be helping small business owners improve their page promotion. However, search engines cannot read. If they don?t see similar keywords, then they do not understand that the sites really do have similar content.

Building Links

The main problem with generating inbound links is the time needed to generate links. Even a strong link building campaign can take months to build a few thousand organic links. This brings up the question, should you buy links from other sites with high ranks?

The benefits are solid, if the link is in the right place. Some link buying services let the business owner pick what sites their links appear on, and which pages they appear on. This is the only type of ?static page? service to use.

Another service puts links on blogs. This type of service, like www.payu2blog.com and www.blogsvertise.com or www.payperpost.com let business owners pick the PR ranks, topics, and quality of blog, their links are posted on. Blogs have a benefit that static websites don?t. First, blogs always put the link inside the content, hidden within keywords that the business owner chooses. This guarantees that the keywords at both sites match.

The second benefit is that blogs are pinged to blog search engines, and directories, every time the blogger posts a blog, or a comment is posted. This means that a single blog can be ?pinged? to the search engines daily, where a static web page is pinged every few months ? if ever.

However, a static page that is linked to a blog will be ?crawled? every time the blog post is published and pinged.

Crawling Your Site

Many people buy links from PR4 to PR8 sites for no other reason than to have the search engines come and crawl the site. It doesn?t matter if the link goes down, because the benefits have already been received. This is the best way to have a new website resolved by Google in a matter of hours, instead of weeks, or months.

Cost

Cost can be prohibitive. Some companies have a budget of $1million for blog advertising. However, a small company can get started for $1000. In fact, if the blog owner finds blogs with ads hidden among the posts, they can contact the blog owner and deal with them directly. A PR 2 or 3 blog will cost $5. A PR 4 ? 5 will cost $10. A PR6+ can run as high as $100.

However, the traffic driven to your site by Google can easily offset the cost. Buying 10 links from 10 PR5 websites or blogs can result in 100 000 extra hits in a month, which can produce 1000 extra sales.

Link Farms

Whether you buy links on blogs or web sites, avoid link farms. These are sites that are in business to sell links. If the search engines find these sites they will ban them. This can result in your 1000 PR7 links disappearing ? forever. It can take Google six months, or more, to apply new links to your website. This drops your page rank, and profits, for a few months.

Outbound linking

It is also important to remember to link from inside your website to similar sites. Google will count these links too. In the end, it is up to each individual business owner to decide whether they should build organic links, or invest in buying links.

Something even more misleading are those Multi-Level-Marketing schemes or MLM. This business model provides the person who recruited you more opportunity than you and so on. So the farther down the line you join the more removed you are from the guys who are really making the money.

Work at home scams are another style of online robbery that goes and is often advertised both online and offline. You pay a registration fee and then there is no obligation of the company to even stay in business.
